Sarah-Beth - How the group managed time

How the group managed time

Our group managed time reasonably well, I had made a production schedule and we tried our best to stick to this however due to some problems we had to make some changes to when we completed certain parts. One problem that we had was that the there we no available tripods at the time that we wanted to film. We needed a tripod because the camera needed to be held steady. The held us up a bit because it meant that we could not film. We resolved this by completing or improving paperwork that was also part of this assignment. This meant that we did not waste any time. We also had the problem of the mac’s being slow which held us up. We resolved this by completing the work in our own time. Before the filming we took time to plan the documentary so that we did not waste any time when filming by not knowing what we are doing. Once we had planned the documentary, we went on to film, this when we experienced our main problem, which was with the equipment. We then edited the footage that we had and realised that we needed more to make sure it was long enough. Meeting deadlines also involved a lot of time management because we had a deadline for the paperwork, filming and the editing.
