Daniel Potter - How we managed people

We managed people very well at the beginning of the project, we did this by equally splitting up the assignment tasks to carry out individually. This was done by the complexity and ease of each tasks.

However we then did not manage people very well during the filming and editing stages.
Reasons for this:

• Personality Clashes
• Working styles/methods
• Time issues

The main issue that we had during our media filming was the clashes of the personality, this was a key issue within the group as it has lead to some members of the group to get incredibly pissed off.

this has tied in with the issue of the working styles.

In our group we had 3 different working styles, one who wanted to just get on with the work and get it over and done with. The next merely carried out the work when it needed to be done. This was not as much of an issue as it was still all completed on time. However the third simply carried out the work when they wanted to. This was incredibly awkward when it came to working in a group as it meant the others had to carry out the majority of the work to begin with on their own which caused them to become stressed easily.

The third issue was down to time issues, as people in the group had different time tables it was difficult to find a time where all the members were available and willing to go carry out the filming. This was difficult to work around and caused issues in the group.
